We also just had our
fist litter of party color Tibetan Spaniels - the original sacred palace
dogs! It is believed that
Tibetan Spaniels or "Tibbies"
are they are often called, are the ancestors to many of today's small
dogs
and one of the genetically purest breeds. Researchers believe
that Tibbies may have originated back as far as 1100 BC.
This may
be a factor in their long life span and good health.
